Take Charge America is a nonprofit agency that helps individuals and families nationwide overcome their financial challenges through credit counseling, debt management, student loan counseling and housing counseling. We offer a free online debt review and a wide variety of educational resources to help people develop effective financial habits, budget to meet living expenses and manage debt. Our highly trained counselors also provide one-on-one guidance to help our clients achieve financial independence. Since 1987, we have helped nearly 2 million people nationwide manage and repay more than $6 billion in personal debt.
