Horrible
“They were horrible to me as well. In fact, I have people telling me that them sending sherrif's to my wife's house to collect or auction off our stuff was against the law and very shady. This was a $600 bill that the original company Bally's wrote off because I told them they lied to me during the signup process and refused to pay the bill. Horrible! They refused to respond to my many emails too. ” -

This company is headed straight for the toilet!
“Cannot say anything positive about this company. My final bill with the cable company was forwarded to this outfit instead of me as per company policy of the cable company. Time Warner if anyone is interested in that bit of additional information! This company received this collection in their office in November of 2008, but made NO CONTACT with me for over a year and a half. In May of 2010, they get around to putting this information on my credit bureau as an unpaid collection, thus inhibiting my ability to secure employment with a new firm. It was the firm seeking to hire me that advises me that I have this debt outstanding (not this collection agency...apparently they couldn't be arsed enough to bother and try to resolve the matter any more than the cable company!) As soon as I dug deep enough into Time Warner to even find out what company they placed their uncollectable account with and checked with this company, I learned that they were secondary idiots who never even bothered to send me a letter or make a phone call to ask for payment or let me know any additional money was owed. I didn't waste time arguing the debt or trying to negotiate a lower amount to settle the debt. I just paid what I owed. Something I would have done a year and a half ago if anyone had bothered to send me the bill. I guess in today's world that's a rather odd nuance and not common business practice these days, no? Where have I been lately? They do in fact charge you $20.00 additional for a proof of paid collection account settlement letter, and you can count on that coming whenever they feel like being arsed enough to send that out to you as well. I did not experience any threatening contact as it was I who had to contact them to find out if they even owned this debt. Again, I got no phone calls or correspondence from them AT ALL, but I can certainly imagine the black hole of ineffective communication and useless attempts at resolving any issues you may have with them if you are another unfortunate soul who has to do business with this organization. A final word to their creditors and investors: Take your money and your business elsewhere. These people are LOSERS!” -

Collection Rights
“FYI I would give this place ZERO stars if possible. \n \nIf anyone has an account with this company make sure you record all of your phone calls and contact an attorney. This company does so many illegal things. Threatening people, saying they will send accounts to their lawyers(which they don't have). Please make sure to be careful when dealing with these people. They will settle accounts out and make you pay $20.00 for a settlement letter. If you don't get the settlement letter they will then call you to pay the rest of the balance. This company is just as bad as someone not paying their bill. BEWARE OF PROMPT RECOVERY SERVICES!!!!” -
